Tug

Another winter scene, looking at the freight terminal, with the Key Bank building in the background. This shot is from beneath the Casco Bay Bridge. As I learned a couple months ago in the Portland Press Herald, the water freight industry is making a comeback in the area as it is becoming more competitive with trucking as fuel costs rise. The same goes for trains.

Hurray for my wireless internet signal which is now working about 40% of the time again. :-)

  1. Corey,

Very nice image. Black and white really adds a nice mystique here. I haven't seen any tugboats on my brief visits to Portland, but I'll be on the look out the next time that I'm in town. You've got a great city to photograph.

Looks like you've got internet again!
