A morning stroll along the brick buildings around Commercial Street. The morning sun provides some interesting light/color on the Key Bank Building at Canal Plaza.

Women's March - Portsmouth, NH
I wasn't around Portland today to capture photos of the large crowd that turned out for the Women's March, but I did happen to be in Portsmouth, which also had a sizeable turnout. According to Seacoastonline.com, "An estimated 3,500 people jammed Market Square."

Boothby Square, January 2017
The winter lights along Fore Street at Boothby Square, in the Old Port. The cobblestone roadway here looked a bit slick last night, but the brick sidewalks were in decent shape.

Neal Dow House, Night
A nighttime view of the Neal Dow House at 714 Congress Street. It is a National Historic Landmark because of it's namesake. Neal Dow wore many hats: Mayor of Portland (1851–58), brigadier general in the American Civil War, an abolitionist, a leader of the temperance movement, and the Prohibition Party's presidential candidate in 1880. The building is currently home to the Maine Woman’s Christian Temperance Union.

Congress Square Clock
A bit of the surrounding buildings reflected against the old Union Station clock tower which sits in Congress Square Park. Once the square is redesigned the clock will find a new home. Perhaps it will join a portion of the old Union Station train shed that is over at Thompson's Point.
