Corey Templeton Photography & Etsy
One of the challenges of sharing so many photos is that some of my favorite shots quickly fall out of view in a week or so, never to be seen again. At the same time, I have some printed copies of some of my photos just sitting around gathering dust. For those reasons, I've decided to start adding photos for sale on Etsy again, at Etsy.com/shop/coreytempleton. You can still buy prints, digital copies, or license (for commercial, editorial, etc) all of my photos at coreytempletonphotography.com, however, adding a few oldies to Etsy every now and then will help highlight some of my "greatest hits" so to speak.

Thursday Throwback to a winter storm in January 2014, from Fort Allen Park. Usually this spot allows for a scenic panorama of Casco Bay.

A Snug Pub
Passing by The Snug, a pub, a 223 Congress Street this evening. It's so nice walking around in the snow when it is around 20 degrees fahrenheit, compared to the colder recent temperatures.

Brick by Fassett
Two beautiful brick buildings designed by Francis Fassett in Portland's West End. The Mellen E. Bolster House on Congress Street is now home to boutique hotel The Francis and restaurant Bolster, Snow & Co. And the other building pictured is one of my favorite residential buildings on Pine Street.

Longfellow House, Jan. 2018
A winter's morning at the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow house on Congress Street. I wonder if this building is drafty in the winter?

Strolling Through the Snow
Took a quick stroll through the blizzard this evening. Lucky to live in such a scenic part of town. This is from State Street.

Birding in Casco Bay
Can you spot the bald eagle? This was taken from a Casco Bay Lines ferry as it passed by Little Diamond Island in November. I didn't have my long lens with me, but it was still cool to see in person.
Lean on Me
A Portland harbor pilot boat guiding Eimskip's Skógafoss into place. This recent cold stretch is a good reminder that our harbor became what it is because of its (relatively) ice-free winters.

A Decade of Portland Daily Photo
Today marks the 10th year since I started my journey of sharing photos of my little city through the magic of the internet, at www.portlanddailyphoto.com. Remember when blogs were a thing? I had no idea when I started sharing my photos in 2008 that anyone would follow my work. Or that people would pay me for photos and it would develop into a legitimate small business. Looking back at my early photos is a painful exercise, but it's a great reminder that if you enjoy something and spend time practicing then you will get better. Or at the least, you'll have fun along the way. Thank you for following along and letting me share my perspectives with you.
