The Entertainer
A musician, later identified as Frank Fotusky, playing an acoustic set at Andy's Old Port Pub on Thursday night. This was shot through the window as I was strolling by.

Maine Marimba Ensemble
A shot of the Maine Marimba Ensemble, a regular sight/sound during First Friday Art Walks, playing in the Old Port earlier this month.
And here is a link to a recent "10 best" list by USA Today that looks at (in their opinion) the prettiest cobblestone streets in America. You'll recognize my photo from Wharf Street in the slideshow.

Old Port Festival 2013 - Spose
Today's recap of the 2013 Old Port Festival includes photos of Wells, Maine musician Spose. Not really my cup of tea, but he seems pretty popular with the kids these days. Thanks again to Goodwill Industries of Northern New England for the passes to the patio.

Old Port Festival 2013 - Paranoid Social Club
Today ended up being a beautiful day for the 40th annual Old Port Festival. It sounds like everything went as planned and everyone had a good time. I'm not sure what the official crowd size estimate was, but there were a lot of people out and about.
As you may have seen on the Portland Daily Photo Facebook Page, I asked a few days ago if anyone had access to any unique locations around the Old Port from where I could take pictures. Thanks to a gracious offer from the good folks at Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, I was given a pretty exclusive pass to get up to the patio at One City Center. Several bands performed throughout the day up on the patio. Here are some of my photos of Portland's own Paranoid Social Club.
