A colorful display in the windows of the Casco National Bank building on Middle Street. The color in each window changes every few seconds, making for an eye-catching display.

Battery Steele
I finally made a trip to the Battery Steele on Peaks Island today. The structure was built during World War II and deactivated shortly after in 1948. It is now in a public land preserve and as of 2005 is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Colors on Danforth Street
I like to think that the owners of this row house on Danforth Street carefully planned on matching their sidewalk flowers to their front door.

It must be the weekend of the Old Port Festival - the ferris wheel is in place on Long Wharf. The attraction lines up well with this view down Moulton Street.
