Looks like another pleasant day to meander around the Back Cove. Next weekend you will see runners and walkers taking part in the Trail to Ale 10K, an annual fundraiser for Portland Trails, passing through this section of trail. There's still time to register for the race here.

Park of Lincoln
Portland's Lincoln Park was opened in 1866, making it our oldest publicly-owned park. The fountain itself dates back to 1871. You can learn more by checking out the Friends of Lincoln Park website.

Victoria Mansion, Summer 2015
A view of the Victoria Mansion, also known as the Morse-Libby House, on Danforth Street. According to the home's website, it was originally built as a summer home, and it is "widely recognized as the most important expression of the Italian villa style in American domestic architecture."
