This Saturday morning sunrise near Sail Maine headquarters on the Eastern Waterfront. Sail Maine is a "community sailing center," which provides "access to the water through community sailing and educational programming."

Picture in Picture
Walking past an old storefront on the corner of State and Pine Streets in the West End. The old tenant in this spot, "The Frame Shop," recently moved out to Gorham. Any guesses on what will move into this spot next?

Classic
A quiet spring morning on Fore Street. I'd consider this stretch of buildings to be representative of that "classic Portland" look.

Portland Downtown 2016/2017
You'll notice one of my photos on the cover and throughout the Portland Downtown map and directory again this year. It's always cool to see this one around town! [The delicious quiche in the photo was provided by Arabica).

Longfellow on Marion St.
Speaking of Mr. Longfellow, check out this artistic mural featuring his likeness. This is along Marion Street, a convenient connection between Washington Avenue and Sheridan Street/Sumner Park.

The Old Neighorbood
A recent sunset over the India Street Neighborhood. This neighborhood, tucked between the Old Port and Munjoy Hill, is one of Portland's oldest. Last November the City Council accepted the India Street Sustainable Neighborhood Plan which lays out a framework for preservation as well as future development.

Widgery West
The west side of old Widgery Wharf at low tide. I was pleased to have captured the three seagulls looking rather synchronized.

The Sound of Corey Templeton Photography
I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed down at One City Center for WJBQ's (97.9 on the FM dial) "97 Seconds" feature. Give it a listen here. You can tell by my voice that my photography is the only way I'd ever get airtime on a top-40 radio station! And in case you missed it, at the end of last month I was also featured in an episode about Instagram for the Social Dig Podcast.

Landmarks
Have you seen the new Greater Portland Landmarks website? A good place to start is their inaugural blog posting, which features a few words from me. You'll notice a bunch of my photos up all over the site as well. It's pretty cool to work with the organization that is helping to preserve many of the buildings that play a role in my photographs.
