Nameless

As I noted in a post from a few months ago, the Eastland Hotel is undergoing a major renovation and will eventually re-open as the "Westin Portland Harborview." Per this article on the Travel Weekly website, the Eastland "was the largest hotel north of New York when it was built in 1927." Here's some photos of it without the famed Eastland signage:

  1. My grandfather told me it was formerly the "Congress Square Hotel" and a news station used a section of it for their operations as well as their antenna. They used the call letters as their name, hence, WCSH. :)
