A look at part of the Baxter Building at 619 Congress Street. Once home to the Portland Public Library and then occupied by the Maine College of Art, it has been the home of the VIA Agency (advertising/marketing) for a few years now.
Good to see that this Romanesque beauty is still there on Congress Street and providing some beautiful commercial space. I like your composition here and the use of monochrome really works well. Henry Hobson Richardson designed Quincy's Romanesque beauty, which is still being used as a library.
