Portland's Downtown District is the virtualhome of Portland's Downtown District.

According to their About Us section...

Portland's Downtown District (PDD) is a not-for-profit 501c(4) organization
founded in 1992. It is funded by a tax assessment on property within the
boundaries of the District. All property owners and tenants are considered
members of Portland's Downtown District.

The mission of Portland's Downtown District (PDD) is to act as a leader and facilitator in the support and promotion of the economic vitality of downtown Portland.

You may also see their logo here and there around town, they also have the tagline "love.downtown.more." :

It's not horrible looking. I don't mind the colors. but it looks like what I see when I take my glasses off. I think a more clear and to the point logo would be appropriate. It would be a plus also if it evoked imagery of the city instead of myopia.

Here is my 5 second Microsoft Paint updated PDD logo:

So mine sucks too. But I am going to do some photoshoping when I get home!
