A few night shots of Portland's Holiday Inn (By the Bay). This one was built in 1973 and is one of the bigger hotels. Portland is a small town and most buildings downtown go dark after 6pm, but hotels offer some nice lighting for night photography.

The Wishcamper Center on the University of Southern Maine - Portland campus is home to the Muskie School of Public Service, among other things I assume. It was recently opened and I think it turned out pretty well. Some neat facts about the building can be found here, such as:

An unidentified band playing at last weekend's "Picnic music and arts festival" at Lincoln Park. It appeared to be quite a success with a lot of people present. I hope they make this (at least) an annual event.
