Before and After #3

A before and after of the current 'Post Office Park' in the Old Port, former site of a post office, pictured above, from here. The picture below wasn't taken with the intention of doing a before and after segment, but it gets the job done. There are not always clowns present here but it's a nice touch.

I'm not sure when the old post office was demolished (long before I was born, I'm guessing the 50's or 60's), but I do know that the space it occupied was a dirt parking lot for a few decades before becoming a nice little park. I think the post office here was a beautiful structure, but the park makes for a nice public area and doesn't make this part of the old port feel any less dense.
