I remember a time when all of Danforth St. did look like this. There were huge Elm trees along both sides of the street. Tall as the three story buildings. They formed a green tunnel over the street and tall delivery trucks would brush their hanging branches as they drove up the street. That was long before your time. In the "good ol' days". Hamblen Block, Dating back to 1835 and located at 188-194 Danforth Street in the West End. I wish every block looked more like this.
