An exterior view of the Portland Food Co-Op, located at 290 Congress Street. It's nice to have an independent grocery store with lots of local products nearby. 

House Island

From Peaks Island, looking towards House Island and the downtown skyline. House Island recently became a designed historic district since "half of the island was part of a network of immigration stations used from the 1890s through the mid-1920."

We've gotten some dramatic sunsets lately, perhaps it's due to the changing of the seasons and the cooler temperatures at night (just a guess). This one is from where Forest Avenue meets Congress Street.
