Sunday Mornings

A summertime scene along Back Cove this morning. Baxter Boulevard itself (from Vannah Avenue to Payson Park) is car-free from 9am-4pm every Sunday. 

Over and Above Portland

Above the Eastern Promenade

From the same spot as yesterday's photo, looking left towards the Eastern Promenade. This would be an excellent place to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July!

Fort Allen

Here is an aerial view of Fort Allen Park. The park is schedule to reopen early next month after a rehabilitation project that started last fall.

A view of the Eastern Waterfront and Ocean Gateway terminal from the very top of the "Portland House" condos at 45 Eastern Promenade. I've always wanted to see the view from up here and it's everything I hoped for.  I'll post more shots from up here throughout the week.
