In the Morning

Another addition to my recent collection of foggy photos. This of course is Fore Street.

The Time is Up

Like any sophisticated modern city, Portland has quite a few clocks around downtown. From many spots around town you can simply look up to determine the time. Here are just a few of the non-digital time pieces:

On the tower of the First Parish Church.

On the roof level of Thomas Block, Commercial Street.

Actually not sure if this one one in Congress Square works any more. It would look great all lit up at night. 

A class romanesque clock on the top of One Portland Square. 

Yellow City

A bright yellow box on the corner of Park Avenue and Forest Avene. I think this particular box has something to do with controlling the traffic lights at the intersection or perhaps controlling the nearby streetlights 

Fade Away

Some fog hanging over Congress Street and the Time & Temperature building.

Pier of Portland

The view down Portland Pier towards Commercial Street on a foggy morning. I wanted to capture this without any people and it actually took several minutes for the scene to look empty. 

Downbound Train

Vote Fred? The old Veterans Bridge is in the background.

The other direction, towards Cassidy Point.
