Per their website, Sail Maine "is a non-profit organization formed to support sailing in Maine at the grass-roots, community level." They are located along the Eastern Waterfront at 58 Fore Street, and if you have walked along the Eastern Promenade you may have seen some of their sailboats in the harbor. Supermoon!
Upon hearing about the once-a-year supermoon occurring Saturday, I planned ahead to get some photos of it rising over the Portland skyline from across Back Cove. It wasn't quite as super as I anticipated, but it was a treat nonetheless.

Last December
Back in december I embarked a pleasant early morning walk and this morning I felt like editing and sharing the some of those photos. I think black and white fits the mood of the photos well, as recall it being a foggy but fairly warm day.
