Speaking of Mr. Longfellow, check out this artistic mural featuring his likeness. This is along Marion Street, a convenient connection between Washington Avenue and Sheridan Street/Sumner Park.

The Old Neighorbood

A recent sunset over the India Street Neighborhood. This neighborhood, tucked between the Old Port and Munjoy Hill, is one of Portland's oldest. Last November the City Council accepted the India Street Sustainable Neighborhood Plan which lays out a framework for preservation as well as future development.

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed down at One City Center for WJBQ's (97.9 on the FM dial) "97 Seconds" feature. Give it a listen here. You can tell by my voice that my photography is the only way I'd ever get airtime on a top-40 radio station! A good place to start is their inaugural blog posting, which features a few words from me. You'll notice a bunch of my photos up all over the site as well. It's pretty cool to work with the organization that is helping to preserve many of the buildings that play a role in my photographs.
