Central Provisions
A view of the Wharf Street entrance to Central Provisions. The restaurant and bar, which opened a little over a year ago, quickly established itself as a destination and was even nominated for "best new restaurant" by the James Beard Foundation.

Stroudwater River Ice
From this afternoon, a view of where the Stroudwater River empties in the Fore River and Casco Bay. This was a quick cellphone shot from my bike ride home from work. I was originally interested in the frozen waterfall on the other side of the bridge (like this, but colder) but found this more compelling.

Back Towards Commercial Street
Looking back from the end of the Maine State Pier. The new building on Maine Wharf, to the left, adds some interesting colors to the mix.

Steps & Shadows
Interesting shadows on the steps to City Hall. There was a local television news crew with a spotlight to the right of the frame which created said shadows.

Underneath the Clouds
I was able to get a little bit of the cloud movement in this photo from last week, looking towards the People's United Bank and Time & Temperature Buildings.
