Pleasant Street Park

These photos are from Pleasant Street Park, which is a small city park on Pleasant Street (how convenient). The park features some seating, a playground, and a basketball court. Don't let my photos of the graffiti around the park give the impression that it isn't cared for and family-friendly.

A building on Moulton Street reflected in a puddle. The three chimneys caught my eye. 

Yarn Bomb

The sculpture on the corner of Free and Temple streets, named "Michael," is sporting a (temporary) new look. Check out this article in the Press Herald for more info about this pleasant incident of yarn bombing. I've always thought this sculpture would look better with some color on it. 

Telephone Line

From a purely photographic perspective, I would like it if all the telephone/electrnical wires of downtown Portland were put underground. Sometimes they can add to an image, but I usually feel the opposite way.

Taking a peek at the private dock alongside the State Pier.  I believe the boat in this picture belongs to the Portland Schooner Company.
