There will be a formal grand opening of the new Casco Bay Lines ferry terminal at the State Pier at 10:30 this morning. The impressive new terminal was designed by Scott Simons Architects and per the Casco Bay Lines website it will help them handle the "nearly one million passengers, 30,000 vehicles and 5,300 tons of freight" they accomodate annually.
