Blogging for Good

Blogging for Good
Week of December 18th, 2011

During the week of December 18th I am inviting all local blogs to write a post about an organization or cause that they care about. What better time than the holiday season to help bring awareness to a worthy organization of your choosing? All local blogs are invited to participate, and on this page I will try to maintain links to each participating blog's post in support of this initiative. Leave a comment below or send me an email if you and your blog are planning on participating!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Why?
A: It might be saying way to much to imply that the bloggers of Portland, Maine play an important role in their community, but actually that's how I feel. If you are publishing something for the world to see, it provides a good opportunity to make some sort of a positive difference in your local community.

Q: When?
A: I encourage you to support causes that you care about year round. That being said, I think it would be great for local blogs to participate in this challenge during the week of December 18th because it's in the middle of the holiday season, a time when people tend to be especially charitable and receptive to helping out their local community.

Q: How?
A: Publish your blog post anytime during the week of December 18th.

Q: Huh?
