Spring on Milk Street

A view of the statue (of dolphins, I think) in front of the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa on Milk Street.

  1. Making good use of the wide angle lens here.

  2. Thanks, John! I use it (Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM) quite a bit. I've been debating moving to full frame (like a Nikon D600) in the future and if I do so I will need to save up for a new full frame wide angle.

  3. I remember when you got it, I have one myself, but only occasionally use it. Most of my shots are long distance with details. I just got a Tamron 18-270PZD and had it out today for the first time. Along with my new D7000, I am quite happy.

I look forward to your daily photos everyday.

Talk to you later, and good luck making the jump to full frame.

    1. I bet that the Tamron 18-270PZD is great match with the D7000, looking forward to seeing your shots with it!
